World Baseball Classic announcers for 2023 include Tyler Maun, Buck Martinez, and nine others. 11 WBC broadcasters covered the tournament this year.
The World Baseball Classic is an international tournament approved by IBAF and WBSC, partnered with MLB. Major League Baseball and all other professional baseball leagues, including their player associations, proposed the idea for this tournament to IBAF.
Being one of the two important senior baseball tournaments approved by WBSC, it is the only one that grants the title of World Champion to the winner. The WBC tournament is held every four years according to the planning finalized in 2009.
This year's tournament was initially scheduled for 2021 but was postponed due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic. Japan, Taiwan, and the United States are the nations chosen to host the tournament this year.
Fox Network is responsible for airing the live coverage of all 47 World Baseball Classic games this year. They will cover the events over multiple channels, including Fox, FS1, FS2, and Fox Deportes. It will also be accessible on the Fox Sports app in the United States.

John Albert "Buck" Martinez played 17 seasons in his baseball career before announcing his retirement in 1986. Following that, he began his broadcasting career in 1987 with the Toronto Blue Jays, announcing their games on MLB Network.
