Bag Policy
Tropicana Field bag rules state that fans can't bring items larger than 16" x 16" x 8". The size is the same for all items like bags, purses, coolers, and more.
Fans can bring smaller bags, fanny packs, medical bags, and any other bag that does not exceed the given size. People with children are allowed to bring diaper bags with them.
Tropicana Field bag policy 2022 was similar to that of now. Before the 2022 season, fans were not allowed to bring in bags, no matter the size, due to the pandemic.
However, the 2022 season saw a change in that policy as the pandemic started easing.
Here are some of the bags that are allowed inside Tropicana Field:
- Tote Bag
- Fanny pack
- Small purse
- Diaper Bag
- A clear backpack not exceeding the size limit
There are seven gates at the ballpark, and all of them have metal detectors through which fans have to pass. While entering, the officials will thoroughly check your bag and only allow them if they meet the stadium's rules and policies.
Any bag or item deemed prohibited by the officials must be returned to the vehicle or given away. The stadium does not hold your items for you, and there is no locker where you can place your things, like in Phillies Stadium.
In addition to bags, fans are not allowed to bring other things like banners or other materials that obstruct the view of others. Anything deemed a risk to the health and safety of other fans is not allowed inside the stadium.
Here are some of the other prohibited items inside the ballpark:
- Any alcoholic beverages
- Weapons of any kind
- Drones
- Explosives and fireworks
- Wrapped packages
- Lasers
- Footwear with wheels
- Cameras with lenses longer than 12"
