The COVID-19 pandemic, unfortunately, led to the cancellation of the 2020 play, initially scheduled for Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

However, in 2021, the play returned to Coors Field in Colorado, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays was crowned MVP in the American League's 5-2 victory.
