Mexican Heritage Night Dodgers 2023 is scheduled on 16 May 2023. Dodgers celebrate Mexican culture and heritage at the event.

National Hispanic Heritage Month, popularly known as Mexican heritage month, is celebrated from 15 September to 15 October. It celebrates the cultures, history, and achievements of US citizens whose ancestors came from Mexico, Spain, and other American Latino countries.

More than 2,000 Hispanic descent players have played in the MLB. They make up nearly a quarter of the league today.

The Dodgers have been celebrating it for the last twenty-six years. The teams from California celebrate Hispanic Heritage all season long through Viva Los Dodgers.

It is an initiative to celebrate Latino culture in LA and respect the legacy of Latino players that played or are playing for the Dodgers. The initiative is currently in its fourteenth year.

Not only the Dodgers but the whole of MLB celebrate this month with different events.

Mexican Heritage Night Celebration In 2023

Dodgers Mexican heritage night 2023 is presented by Advance Auto Parts. It falls on May 16 during the first game against the Twins in the Series.

Last season the Dodgers celebrated Mexican heritage day and night by playing the first doubleheader at Dodger Stadium since July 22, 1999.

This year's promotions include a ticket package for the opener. Fans will receive an exclusive event poncho along with the ticket in that special event ticket package.

You must reach the stadium at designated hours during the game day to collect the items in your package.

Last year fans received a gray Heritage Day jersey in one package, whereas a nightcap with a green Heritage Night jersey in the other.

A performance in the Right Field Pavilion will happen before the game, though the performer hasn't been decided yet. California native singer Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuellar had the pleasure of performing last year.

The seven-time World Series-winning team has a huge Mexican-American fan base and plays an important role in supporting LA's Latino community. Mexican heritage night is just one of those many initiatives.

Austin Barnes and Julio Urias are two Mexican players currently available on the Dodgers squad. Both of them played for Mexico in the recent WBC.

Dodgers Mexican Heritage Jersey

Dodgers Mexican Heritage Night jersey represents the Mexican culture. There are different designs of T-shirts available.

The T-shirt is worn by many of the fans during the game on Mexican Heritage Day. It features red and green stripes instead of the team's iconic blue color.

Red and green stripes represent the color of the national flag of Mexico. You will also find a Mexican flag on the sleeves of the jersey.

Other features remain the same as on any regular T-shirt, with the front featuring the word "Dodgers," whereas the back features the player's name.

The jersey is available in various colors and patterns. However, all the design center around the green and red colors, whereas some have grey colors. This year's ticket package includes a blue and white striped "poncho" with a Dodgers badge at the front. A "poncho" is a sleeveless t-shirt with unsewn sides and is regarded as a symbol of Mexican culture.
