Kyle Higashioka parents Diane Higashioka and Ted Higashioka are business owners. Kyle is a fourth-generation Japanese American.

The New York Yankees catcher, Kyle Higashioka, struggled for years in the minor league before making his MLB debut in 2017. Throughout this ordeal, Diane and Ted have supported their son and his baseball career.

On Instagram, the catcher can be seen sharing throwback photos from his childhood to wish his dad and mom on Father's Day and Mother's Day. Some of those photos also include his little brother.

The 32-year-old represents his country USA in the WBC and played alongside Bobby Witt Jr against Cuba in the semi-final round. Team USA is now one game away from being crowned back-to-back WBC Champions, and that game is against Japan on Tuesday.

Kyle Higashioka parents Diane Higashioka and Ted Higashioka are residents of Huntington Beach.

Kyle is a fourth-generation Japanese American with the catcher receiving his Japanese roots from his father, Ted Higashioka. Raised as a typical Californian, the Yankees player started to connect with his roots in 2017.

In an interview with The New York Times, in 2017, Kyle said he started to learn Japanese, fulfilling one of his dad's wishes. Learning Japanese not only kept Kyle on the good side of his father but also helped in communicating with his former teammate Masahiro Tanaka.

His Father Ted Higashioka Works In Marketing

Kyle Higashioka's father Ted Higashioka is a sales and market navigator at Higashioka Entertainment Group.

A graduate of California State University in Science and Business Administration, Ted Higashioka established Higashioka Entertainment Group in June 2008.

Ted has experience of more than four decades in sales and marketing. He has previously worked as a sales account manager for Borders, a business educator and services group.

During the late 90s, Ted worked as a regional sales manager for Polygram Group Distribution and later as a regional director at Universal Music and Video Distribution.

Ted is available on Facebook but has shared limited photos of himself and his family. One of his latest pictures was at the Dodger Stadium, with the dad-of-two beaming with birds

Kyle Higashioka Mum Diane Higashioka

Kyle Higashioka mom Diane Gribb Higashioka is the owner of DGH Background Services.

Diane graduated from Cazenovia College in 1970 with a degree in general sales, merchandising, and related marketing operations. She was the crew leader at US Census Bureau for nine months before she founded her company in March 2013.

The mother-of-two boys, Gribb, comes from a Caucasian background and was raised in Pennsylvania.

On her Facebook, Diane can be seen sharing photos of her Kyle since his early days in the sports. In 2016, for her birthday, Kyle fulfilled one of her wishes. Speaking to the MLB Network, the catcher dedicated his recent home run to his mom, who made a special request for her birthday.

And instead of scoring one, Kyle scored two, including blasting a three-run homer.

In 2016, Kyle shared a Thanksgiving photograph with a turkey on the table and his mum and brother by his side as he wished Diane Mother's Day. One of the other posts includes the entire Higashioka family barring Kyle's better half.

The Yankees catcher can be seen in a Liverpool top with his family posing for a Christmas photograph. 2023 has started on a brighter note for Kyle. The baseball player was awarded the 2023 Thurman Munson Award, and Diane was up on stage accepting the award with him.

Kyle Higashioka Wife Alyse Higashioka

Kyle Higashioka and his wife Alyse Higashioka confirmed their relationship on Instagram in 2016.

One of the first pictures of the couple dates back to Valentine's Day, 2016, when Kyle shared a picture of him and his girl from the cinemas watching Terminator 2. And by the time Alyse's birthday came on April 2, 2016, Kyle had already started calling her finance.

The baseballer captioned the post, "Happy birthday gorgeous!! You're engaged to a younger man now! Woohoo!" Though Alyse is available on Instagram, the better half of the Yankees player has kept her account private.

Alyse has stood as a rock for Kyle since his minor league days. The catcher for many years dwelled in the minor league before making a breakthrough in the major league in 2017. One of the photos of the couple is from Kyle's time at Trenton Thunder.

That same year, Kyle and Alyse celebrated the catcher being crowned Triple-A champions with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. A month later, after the victory, Kyle Higashioka and Alyse Higashioka married on November 13, 2016.

Kyle shared a picture of them in their wedding dress as he informed his followers he was enjoying his honeymoon with Alyse in Maui, Hawaii. One of the big days for the couple came on April 10, 2017, as Kyle made his MLB debut for the Yankees.

The catcher shared a post of him and Alyse from the sidelines as he shared how ecstatic he was to share this moment with his better half. The couple is yet to be parents but has a pet mountain dog named Millie, who they adopted in 2018 and keeps them preoccupied.

Earlier this year, on Valentine's Day, Kyle shared a photo of Alyse and Millie as he wished Valentine's Day to his two beautiful girls.
