Kauffman Stadium Bag Rules And Policy Explained

Kauffman Stadium bag policy is a way of enhancing the security of the ballpark. All the bags are checked during entry.

To provide a secure environment and speed up entry into the ballpark, The K has prohibited the entry of certain bags. Only a few types of bags are stadium approved.

First, bags should be either clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag or have single compartments only. Any clear bags must not exceed the size 12" x 12" x 6".

All the items inside the bag must be visible as well. Zip seal bags like those of Ziploc or similar are allowed for entry, but the size must not exceed one gallon.

Further, small clutch bags of size 9" x 5" or lower(with or without a handle or strap) are allowed. These bags can be accompanied by any one of the aforementioned clear bags.

However, exceptions are allowed in case of medical reasons or if you're with infants and young children carrying manufactured diaper bags. A proper inspection of the bags is conducted before allowing entry.

Fans can have their bags checked at designated stations at each gate.

Can you bring a purse into Kauffman Stadium? The answer is no you can't bring a purse to The K.

The stadium has a clear bag policy, which prohibits the entry of purses and bag packs. However, you can carry small clutch purses that do not exceed 5" x 7".

The purse will be checked thoroughly at the time of entry.

If you bring a purse that does not meet the requirements, you will be asked to keep it in your car or throw it away. The ballpark will not safeguard it for you.

Kauffman Stadium rules include the prohibition of a baseball bat. While entering the ballpark there are certain rules and regulations to be followed by the guests.

Some of those rules are:

• Guests are not permitted to bring baseball bats into the ground.
• Drinks besides water, milk, soft juice, and sports drink are not allowed. Allowed drinks must be sealed, not frozen, and not exceed one liter.
• Pets or animals not documented as service dogs are not allowed.
• Guests are not allowed to bring toy knives or guns, hard-sided coolers, inflatables, aerosol can, or wrapped presents or gifts.
• Cameras with a lens 12" or more and brooms in excess of 4 feet are not allowed.
• No alcohol will be sold after the end of the 8th inning. It is done so that at the time when the game ends the visitors are sober and can drive carefully.
• Banners or signs that block others' view, interfere with the game, or contain advertisement is prohibited.
• Noisemaking devices like bullhorns and cowbells are not allowed.
• Guests are not allowed to enter the playing field or any of the fountains. Those who fail to obey will be transported to the downtown police station and charged accordingly.
• Smoking is prohibited inside Kauffman Stadium. However, there are some designated smoking areas along the perimeter fence line at Gates A, B, D, and E.

Another best place to get food in The K is Rivals Sports Bar. It is located just beyond the fountains in the right field.

They offer Hot Dogs, sandwiches, and Burgers thru the seventh inning. However, the star of the menu is the fan favorite, Chicken Wings.

4. Grinders Cheesesteak

If you're looking for a steak, then Grinders Cheesesteak is the place for you. Their best seller is Philly Cheesesteak.

They serve it with Cheez Whiz, Ground Ribeye Steak, with your choice of onions, peppers, and mushrooms served on a beautifully toasted bun.

5. Price Chopper Market Place

Price Chopper is the place for you if you want something quick and healthy. They have a big menu to select from, including customizable grilled chicken sandwiches, salads & wraps, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and various healthy snacks.

They are one of the quickest service providers in this ballpark.
