The former ambassador of Special Olympics Venezuela now works as a freelance sportscaster for MLB and TBS Japan. Gaete has worked for ESPN HD as well as LasMayores.com, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Ivon was born on March 28, 1997, and she is currently 46 years old. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and later moved to the US.

Ivon went to the University of Zulia (LUZ) and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and a minor in advertising. She went to Brasshouse Language Institute in Birmingham, England, for Intensive Summer from August to December 1999. She completed both the Intermediate and advanced level.

Gaete and Marly were both trying to interview Aaron Judge at Yankee Stadium ahead of the game on April 18. Marly informed Gaete that she had already scheduled the time to interview the athlete, to which Gaete ignored her.
