The 76th anniversary of Jackie Robinson was celebrated on April 15 by wearing No. 42 Jersey by different players and teams. Jackie Robinson Day commemorates the breaking of the color barrier in baseball games.
Various events were held to reflect on the impact made by Robinson, including a baseball clinic by LA Dodgers, a gathering at the Jackie Robinson statue, and honoring the Jackie Robinson Foundation.
During the celebration, the LA Dodgers game featured about 50 scholars and alumni of the Jackie Robinson Foundation circling the iconic number 42 in the outfield. All the fans in attendance also received a retro Jackie Robinson jersey in memory of the baseball legend.
Nike also celebrated the day with its release of a limited edition Jackie Robinson Air Force 1 '07 sneakers.

Dodgers Healthcare Night 2023 was celebrated on April 14, 2023. The baseball night honors the healthcare professionals at Dodger Stadium.
The special ticket to the game honoring the healthcare professionals included an exclusive Healthcare Appreciation Night crewneck sweatshirt. In the event, healthcare professionals were welcomed to join fellow health workers and appreciated their continuous effort in providing healthcare to the needy.
A firework show was also organized after the game in Dodger Stadium. The stadium is also one of the oldest stadiums in MLB, established in 1962.
