Globe Life Field Bag Policy 2023 - Prohibited Rules

Texas Rangers bag policy at Globe Life Field is limited for bags under the dimensions 16” x 16” x 8”. The rule also requires the bag to have only one compartment.

• Bags that comply with ADA regulations.
• Clear bags with only a single chamber smaller than 16” x 16” x 8”. It will go through a security check for a successful entry.
• Diaper bags that exceed the dimensions in case of guests with toddlers and kids.
• Foods that are sealed inside plastic containers.
• Water bottles or non-alcoholic beverages below 1 liter.
• Backpacks are allowed for official media personnel after a security check

Likewise, the following list of items is not allowed inside the Rangers ballpark.

• Alcoholic beverages of any kind will be confiscated at the gate.
• Bags that are bigger than the size of 16” x 16” x 8”.
• Backpacks and camera cases are not allowed except for media.
• Glassware or food containers made of glass are not allowed.
• Luggage, suitcases, rucksack, and other big backpacks.
• Tripods, camera stands, or any metallic accessories that are hard.

Globe Life Field Purse Policy

Globe Life Field purse policy permits to have handbags smaller than 16” x 16” x 8” for the fans. They would require a security check at the entry gate.

They follow a simple rule when it comes to purses being brought to the stadium. The purses and bags should have softer sides and follow the dimension criteria set by MLB. 

For those carrying large luggage and bags leaving them in the car would be an ideal and safe option since the ballpark does not offer a storage or locker facility.

Globe Life Field food policy permits food from outside if it is sealed in a quart sized plastic pouch. They only allow one water bottle and food pack per ticket.

Since they allow outside food, the people are required to follow the rules strictly without any concessions. The meals should be properly sealed inside the quart size packs, and the water bottles should not be larger than one liter.

The Rangers ballpark food & beverage policy also mentions that they would consider special situations, regarding diet concerns. Edibles for infants and for people with strict nutrient plans will be allowed.

• Outside foods are allowed as long as they are packed inside a quart-size plastic bag.
• Non-flavored water can be allowed in plastic bottles containing less than 1 liter.
• Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are not allowed from outside but can be purchased inside the arena. The limit is set 2 times for each ticket. 
• The sale of food and beverages will be halted after the eighth inning or two and a half hours after the game begins.
• Baby foods and diet supplements can be allowed after a quick confirmation.

Food At Globe Life Field

The food at Globe Life Field includes hot dogs, nachos, pizza, burgers, and many other snacks. There are more than 100 stalls around the arena.

Those looking for beverages, soft drinks, ice creams, and desserts on a hot sunny day can get their fill at the concession stands available. People can also get smoked sausages, barbeque items, and popcorn from the services available.

Globe Life Field roof status will change depending on the weather condition at each game. They will close the roof during rainy and high-temperature days.

However, they will keep the roof open unless bad climate conditions disturb them during the game. The highly unstable temperature and rainfall status at Arlington, Texas, prompted the Rangers to opt for a stadium with a closing roof.

Before moving to Globe Life, Rangers faced many game interruptions due to rain and high temperature. ESPN states that Rangers spent $1 Billion for the new retractable roof stadium to tackle the issue of their audience flow and revenue being affected by the weather.

The MLB team utilizes the closing roof of their home ground, depending on the situation. The changing weather condition will prioritize roofs to continue the games.
