Rachel Shipley Is A Soccer Coach
Rachel Shipley is the owner of Hot Shots Soccer which provides youth soccer classes.
HSS teaches kids between the ages of 18 months to six years how to play the sport. It's also known as Raley Athletics, LLC, after Rachel's maiden family name.
The organization based out of 18643 Anasazi Bluff Dr, College Station, Texas, was incorporated on 1 February 2017.
Through Hot Shots, Rachel has coached competitive soccer and taught thousands of classes. Over 11 years after purchasing the academy and taking over as its owner, she's still as energetic and motivated.
She says that soccer has brought her a lot of joy in her lifetime and that she hopes to share that joy with as many little ones as she can.
Despite her degree in Finance from Texas A&M (2011) and initial plans of pursuing a career in the business world, Rachel decided she couldn't leave the game she loved so much.
After lots of thought and prayer, she made up her mind to stay in College Station to run the youth soccer academy. Rachel Raley, formerly Rachel Katherine Shipley, now resides there with her family.
It's no surprise that Rachel also once played the sport. She was a soccer star for the Texas A&M Aggies for four years (2007 to 2010). Donning jersey number #7, she dominated the midfield.
An All-Big 12 and Academic All-American, she helped the team grab two Elite Eight appearances and two conference titles during her tenure.
Living in the same town, Rachel is able to still maintain relationships with the college, its football team, and several of her former teammates. She still feels like a part of the Aggies even though her playing days are over.
For high school, she attended Plano West Senior High in her hometown of Plano, Texas. Born on 13 August 1989, Rachel is currently 33. She has a sister Riley Shipley named and a brother named Swaggy Shipley.
