Best Current Switch Hitters In MLB are Ozzie Albies, Yency Almonte, and others. Mickey Mantle is the all-time best switch hitter in MLB.

Another notable switch-hitter was Roger Connor before the Mantle. He was a 19th-century First baseman and Manager.

The decades of the 90s and 2000s were productive for these sluggers. During the same time, players like Chipper Jones, Lance Berkman, and Carlos Beltran excelled in the technique.

Though the popularity of this unique technique is declining, younger players such as Ozzie Albies, Yoán Moncada, and Francisco Lindor are dynamic in hitting.

The technique refers to a player with a batting ability from both sides of the plate, using both right and left hands. This hitter uses his right hand to bat against a left-handed pitcher and his left hand against a right-handed pitcher.
