Minor League Baseball Teams In Georgia are Georgia Rhinos, Gwinnett Stripers, and Rome Braves. There are 11 minor league teams in Texas.

The MiLB teams are professionals affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB). These teams in different places are established for the player's development and are nurtured by the MLB team.

Altogether, there are 14 Minor clubs and 206 teams affiliated with MLB Baseball teams in the United States, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. These teams are organized into five classes. 

The Triple-A is the highest class, and the Rookie is the lowest. There are two MiLB club teams affiliated with MLBs in Georgia.

Georgia Minor League Teams

Minor league baseball teams list in Georgia include Gwinett Stripers and Rome Braves. Georgia Rhinos is also an independent minor league team.

These teams are affiliated with some MLB teams and are functioning in different states. Here are two popular minor league baseball teams in Georgia. 

Gwinett Stripers

Gwinett Striper is the AAA MiLB team affiliated with the Atlanta Braves. They started playing at Coolray Field in 2009. 

The Triple-A affiliate was initially called the Gwinnett Braves and they changed their name to Gwinett Stripers in 2018. Stripers changed their name after a contest that featured finalist nicknames like Big Mouths, Buttons, and Hush Puppies. The Stripers is after striped bass.

The Stripers repositioned from the IL to the Triple-A East in 2021. It was subsequently renamed the International Club in 2022.

The Stripers won three Rookie of the Year awards between 2010 and 2012. They have also grabbed several other awards including Freddie Freeman in 2010, Julio Teherán in 2011, and Ernesto Mejía in 2012.

Gwinett Stripers are also the winner of the South Division title in 2016 and 2019. 

Rome Braves

The Rome Braves are a High-A minor club affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. This team plays in the South Atlantic League and State Mutual Stadium. 

The team was founded in 1980 as the Anderson Braves and featured future MLB stars Brett Butler, Brook Jacoby, and Brad Komminsk. It was then moved to Sumter, Macon, and finally to Rome, Georgia, where they have played since 2003.

The inaugural season in 2003 was a success for the team as they were the winner of the South Atlantic Championship. The team got its status as a High A affiliate of the Braves after they were elevated from Class A in 2021. 

Texas Minor League Teams

Minor league baseball teams in Texas include Corpus Christi Hooks and Midland Rockhounds. Alpine Cowboys is an independent minor league. 

There are several MiLBs in Texas. The Triple-A Pacific Coast and Double-A Texas are based in the state. These have affiliations with teams such as San Diego Padres, Houston Astros, and Texas Rangers.

Besides the affiliated clubs, three independent teams include Pecos, the Independent American Association, and the Independent Atlantic. These clubs have a total of 32 in Texas State.

Minor League Baseball teams in California include Fresno Grizzlies and Hollywood Stars. Modesto Nuts is also a minor league in California.

These teams participate in different levels of games and are known for their incredible performances. The state is also a major state as it hosts a significant number of MiLB teams.

Tennessee Minor League Teams

Minor League Baseball Teams in Tennessee include Chattanooga Lookouts and Elizabethton Twins. Greeneville Reds is also a minor league team in Tennessee.

The three teams, in the Appalachian, are owned by The Interim University of Tennessee President Randy Boyd. These teams are Elizabethton, Greeneville, and Johnson City.

The high A central division of the Midwest clubs, which includes Great Lakes Loons and several others, are in the High A Central division and compete with each other and others in the Midwest.

There are about 10 MiLB teams in Michigan categorized into different leagues. Three of these are played in the High A Central category. 

Four teams play independently associated with United Shore Professional Baseball League (USPBL), and three are with Northwoods League.
